Here are the key timeframes you need to know before initiating a return:
You have 14 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return. Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days of us receiving your returned item.
Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet all of the following conditions:
- The return is initiated within 14 days of the delivery date.
- The item is unused, unworn, and in its original condition.
- All original tags, packaging, dust bags, and accessories are included.
- The item is not a custom, bespoke, or made-to-order piece.
- The item is not marked as final sale at the time of purchase.
Non-Returnable Items
- Custom or personalised leather items made to your specifications — unless defective or damaged on arrival.
- Items returned after the 14-day window.
- Items showing signs of wear, alteration, or customer-caused damage.
- Items returned without original packaging or tags.
- Gift cards and store credit.
How to Return
Contact Our Team
Email support@chinkaraleathers.com within 14 days of delivery. Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason.
Receive Return Authorisation
If your return is approved, we will send you a return authorisation and the correct return address for your nearest warehouse.
Pack & Ship
Securely repack the item in its original packaging. You are responsible for return postage costs unless the item was faulty or incorrect.
Refund Issued
Once received and inspected, your refund will be processed within 10 business days to your original payment method.
Refunds & Exchanges
Refund Timeline
After your return is received and approved, your refund will be processed within 10 business days. Your bank or payment provider may require a further 3–5 business days to credit your account. All refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
Exchanges
We offer exchanges for a different size or colour where stock is available. Contact us at support@chinkaraleathers.com within 14 days of delivery. Exchanges follow the same eligibility conditions as returns.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographs of the item and packaging. We will arrange a free replacement or full refund including return postage at no cost to you.
Return Postage
Return postage is the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to our error. We recommend using a tracked and signed-for service, as Chinkara Leathers cannot accept responsibility for returns lost in transit.
