Billing Terms & Conditions

All prices are in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Payment is collected at the time of order placement.

⚠️ Important: PayPal payments may appear on your statement under SAMAA Leathers — our parent PayPal business account. This is expected. Chinkara Leathers is a sister project of SAMAA Leathers and operates under the same PayPal account.

Charges & Authorisation

When You Are Charged

Payment is taken at the time of order. By completing checkout, you authorise Chinkara Leathers to charge the full order amount — including applicable VAT, taxes, and delivery fees — to your chosen payment method.

Currency

All transactions are in British Pounds (GBP). International customers whose cards are in another currency will be subject to their bank's exchange rate. Chinkara Leathers is not responsible for any foreign exchange fees.

Order Confirmation

After successful payment, you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirms payment was received and your order is being processed. It is not a guarantee of delivery until your order is dispatched.

Failed or Declined Payments

  • Check your card details — number, expiry date, billing address, and CVV.
  • Ensure your card has sufficient available funds or credit.
  • Some UK banks block international transactions — contact your bank to authorise.
  • Try an alternative payment method if problems persist.

Refunds, Disputes & Security

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method only. We do not refund to alternative accounts or methods. Refunds are processed within 10 business days of us receiving your approved return. Full details in our Return & Refund Policy.

Chargeback Policy

We ask customers to contact us at support@chinkaraleathers.com before initiating a chargeback. Most issues are resolved quickly. Chargebacks filed without prior contact may be contested with full order and tracking evidence.

Pricing Errors

If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a system error, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund. You will be notified promptly if this occurs.

Payment Security

All payments are processed through PCI-compliant, SSL-encrypted gateways. We do not store your full card details on our servers. Your financial information is handled exclusively by certified payment processors.

Fraudulent Orders

We reserve the right to cancel orders suspected of fraud. Suspected fraudulent activity will be reported to the relevant UK authorities and payment providers.
